As the global leader in commercialising diagnostic and therapeutic products around midkine, Cellmid is sponsoring the “Excellence in midkine research” conference which will take place on the 4th and 6th of November 2010 in Sydney, Australia. The objective of the conference is to provide a forum for midkine researchers and to engender closer collaborations between midkine scientists. We are inviting researchers who are actively engaged in the study of MK from around the world to participate. The meeting will also be attended by Cellmid’s directors and staff, as well as Cellmid’s research collaborators and consultants.
Cellmid cordially invites all researchers currently working on midkine or interested in conducting research to attend.
Midkine is a multi-faceted molecule, and we aim to include research on all aspects of MK in the program. We are pleased to advise that the meeting will be attended by Professors Takashi Muramatsu and Kenji Kadomatsu, the discoverers of midkine and scientific advisors to Cellmid, along with many of their fellow Japanese collaborators.
We anticipate an intimate meeting of approximately 40-60 delegates. As well as the formal meeting on the 4th and 5th of November, we will also be hosting three social functions- a welcome cocktail reception, a conference dinner, and a harbour cruise on the morning of Saturday, 6th November. These events, and the conference itself, will be free to researchers actively investigating midkine.
